Following the initial Azure Paradise event trailer, many were under the impression that upcoming operative Marian - Riptide would get an interactive scene like Katya - Dawnwing. And while they were excellent laughingstock for not paying proper attention to the actual event details for a few weeks, they ended up being right as Seasun has made a surprise announcement that Marian would in fact be getting one.

Surprise Reveal

Marian - Riptide will be receiving the "Lustrous Night" (unofficial translation) interactive scene. However, it will not be delivered and available to use until the next game update in version 2.3.

The usual prerequisites still apply, of course: you'll need to own Marian - Riptide and her "Radiant Sunkiss" outfit to be able to use the interactive scene. Thankfully, Marian will be a free pickup from the Special Invitation event (though you'll have to finance the acquisition of the outfit yourself).

Pre-Orders

While the interactive scene won't be available anytime for a while, that doesn't mean you'll have to wait as long to shell out for it. Pre-orders for the interactive scene will be available from October 10 10:00AM to November 7 4:00AM (UTC+8), or basically from when Marian will be available to claim for free up until the end of the current event. The interactive scene will be available to purchase on its own (again, remember that you'll need the outfit to use it) or together in a bundle that also includes Marian's "Radiant Sunkiss" outfit and "Future Heartbeat" weapon skin.

To sweeten the deal, Seasun has discounted these during the pre-order period:

• The interactive scene will cost 40 Bitgold during the pre-order period, and 50 Bitgold afterward. Players who own Marian - Riptide and the "Radiant Sunkiss" outfit will be able to purchase the interactive scene at any point in the future.
• The bundle will cost 168 Bitgold during the pre-order period, and 178 Bitgold afterward. It is stated that the bundle will also be available after this event ends during the 2.3 update (though without the discount obviously), but it isn't made clear how long this will be the case.

Marian's outfit and weapon skin are obviously not affected by the delayed release of the interactive scene, and players who purchase the bundle will immediately receive those two items. As stated prior, the interactive scene will be delivered after the version 2.3 update for players to use.

It's probably a safe bet to assume that promotional material showcasing the interactive scene will pop up as the pre-order period goes on, so it would be a smart idea to perhaps wait a bit before making a purchase so you know what you're buying. Spend responsibly, adjutants.
